A wonderful and exciting part
of the RJ Journey
Our Junior School offers three classes for Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2, typically limiting enrolment numbers to 21 or 22 students per class. Each class has its own caring and dedicated teacher who will be your main point of contact.
Demand for Kindergarten is very high and we strongly encourage you to complete an Application for Enrolment as soon as you have made a decision to enrol to avoid disappointment.
The Junior School years are a wonderful and exciting part of the RJ journey. Staff ensure children settle effectively into school routines and are integrated into the RJ culture. Students grow academically, physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually within a safe and supportive learning environment, developing confidence and a life-long love of learning.
Each child's curiosity and creativity will be nurtured through their engagement in a wide variety of stimulating learning experiences designed to promote growth of the whole person. Children will explore their interests and learn from their experiences as they discover their own unique talents and abilities.
RJ will provide your child with an environment built on strong Biblical foundations, teaching Christian values, respect and care for others.
Junior School classes welcome Volunteer involvement and many parents and grandparents take great delight in assisting reading groups, excursions and other activities.
Junior School classes also benefit from the College's Buddy program which allocates Year 12 students to each Junior School class so that they can be encouraged by older role models. One of the many advantages of having Junior and Senior School facilities at the one location is that your child will progress with confidence into Senior School and families with siblings across both sections can enjoy the convenience of them being at the one site. (Junior students have automatic entry into the Senior School Section).
"RJ has provided my child with a community where she can grow and develop her skills and as a person"
